Ella is great with objects such as knives and axes. she has fantastic aim and can hit a target straight on when she wants to. She is also very quick and bright. due to growing up in a district that specializes in graphite and nuclear weapons, Ella has a talent for working with electricity and making small bombs from the elements. for her, the hardest part of the hunger games is murdering other humans. she is known to be gentle and sensitive, and would much rather use the flee strategy than fight. However, that does not mean that she wont do what she has to do to win.

My friends younger brother has recently been in a horrible ski accident and had been in a coma for over a week. im asking you all to do me and him and his family a favor by praying for him to wake up from his coma okay. it doesnt matter what religion you are, please just pray for him, and his family because they are also suffering, watching their son helplessly. :(

literally havent made a real set in FoReVeR :O

My heart was pounding faster than i had ever felt it beat before. I was slowly being raised into a snowy arena. i could easily feel the chill of the air penetrate through both the thick glass tube and my heavy winter coat. Everything felt like a dream to me. a burning sensation had erupted in my stomach and threatened to make me loose all the food i had taken in in the past week. I was breathing heavy and looking around wildly. I felt overly claustrophobic in the tiny tube. everything i had done in the past 17 years flashed rapidly through my mind. 20...19...18... i saw my dad and my brother waving to me through the window of the train as it left the station to bring me to the capital. 15..14...13 I was back in my small home sitting next to my dying mother's bed who suffered from an unidentified disease. 10...9...8... the last time i spoke to my best friend before the games...7... my first kiss...6... winning the school spelling bee in 4th grade...5...my aunts soft diligent fingers as she combed through my soft hair...4 my brother carrying home after i fell and skinned my knee when i was five.
My legs felt like jelly. i had no plan for what i was going to do when the cannon blasted. i could barely stand up, how was i supposed to outrun the other tributes? had i not been petrified to death's end, i knew i could have outrun any of them easily. my slight build was made for speed... i had always won all of the field races i entered in in grade school. 3...2...1...
BOOM.
something inside me clicked. whether it was a sudden burst of adrenaline or my body's fight for survival, i don't know. As soon as i heard the cannon sound, i was off the platform, probably quickest out of everyone. without thinking properly, i dashed slightly in the direction of the cornucopia, and dropped my hands low to snatched up the closest item i could reach, which at first glance appeared to be a sealed potato sack.
I ran for my life. literally. even in the heavy coat and snow boots, i ran faster than i ever imagined i could, i felt like i was flying and my feet were barely grazing the snow. i didnt know for sure where i was going, but i was aiming for the only mountains i could see in the distance. Behind me i could hear the shrieks of children of all ages dying and clashing metal.
i didnt dare look back.

I tentatively walked into the training center and surveyed the other tributes. They all stood with an air of confidence while looking around at the intimidating array of weapons the i knew would be used to any extent to kill me within a few days. I straightened up a bit, determined not to be labeled as an easy target. tucking a lock of hair defiantly behind my ears and narrowing my eyes, i began to examine the assortment of deadly weapons as well.
 
i knew i didnt stand a chance with heavy objects, and i didnt want to give myself away with the knives, so i headed for the table that specified in plant identification. i spent ten minutes trying to familiarize myself with plants that were deadly and plants that had the potential to save my life. then i moved on.
i could feel different eyes in me at certain times but i was determined not to meet anyones gaze. i didnt want any of the other tributes to see the fearful expression i was sure would be evident on my face to matter how hard i tried to wipe it off.
